Meet my new ‘cousin.’ She’s my Godmothers new trainee guide dog. They don’t get to pick the names and the whole litter is given the same first letter so this one is called Quaver

This is her 6th one. She keeps them from 8 weeks until they’re 18 months old (ish). Normally she has a 3 month break in between dogs but due to Covid her last one left last Monday and she picked up Quaver on the Tuesday. She sends daily update pictures :hbeat:

Oh wow! It must be so rewarding to see their progress but also so hard when they go onto the next stage of training.
Does she get any updates on any of the previous dogs she's trained?

Yes, she sends them birthday and Christmas gifts and gets ‘pupdates’ from most of them.

Two of the owners arrange to meet up with her once or twice a year. The dogs forget all their training and fling themselves at her, refusing to leave her side for the duration of the visit.

He is young.

He is naughty today, he stayed out all night and didn't come home till 1pm. I was so worried. Anyway he scoffed his lunch and went straight back out. He has a new pal, a lovely little ginger and white kit. So he doesn't want to play with me anymore.

Although he is a melted cat on my lap now so I think he is knackered.

That guide dog puppy is ridiculous.

Storm looks so silky. I'm glad he has. a new friend.

Here is Oscar, my friend's BSH. He looks grumpy, but allows (adores) belly rubs.

He also likes board games.

I need all of these cats.

I also would have the puppies but they must stay small and cute.
