This is the daft sod who's moved in with us

He actually lives 4 doors down but has adopted us and only trots home for food

He's with us 23 hours a day

They won't surrender him to us, we have asked so this is our arrangement. He lives here and we feed him a little bit but he goes home for his main meals and they pay all the vet bills etc. They have 7 other cats and a dog so he probably likes the quiet here

He's a main coon

Both your guest and your new girl are beauties dizz. How is she settling in?

One of these wines is not like the others…

I had to look twice Chicky

The transition is going extremely well :love2: and they're now eating nicely together

She's free range when we're in but for now we're locking her back up when we go out and when we go to bed

Awe lovely. Was there any particular guidance you followed for introducing her into the household?

We didn't so the swapping of towels scents etc.

We literally put her in the bathroom with toys cat litter cat homes etc and put up an old spring mattress so they could see each other smell each other etc and then after a couple of days when we gave the boys their lunchtime and evening biscuits we fed them outside her prison so they were all eating together for two meals a day

As there seemed to be no aggression through the bars we then let her wander around the bedroom and living room keeping the boys shut out so she played with their toys etc

Then we transitioned to letting her wander for a few hours making sure if there was any aggression we'd stop it - thankfully there wasn't. She winds them up

Next step was to feed them all properly together and they all eat nicely don't bully each other out of food

We're only locking her in at nlght now and when we go out so we can leave the cat flap open for the other two

When she's allowed out in a few weeks she'll be fully free range

Hope that helps

Taffy the Nurse. She loves it when someone is ill. Please excuse the muddy paw prints, the bedding was honestly only changed on Thursday. I don't know why I bother with white, I swear she is part dog.

I'm not sure what Storm is doing.
