TBH we were mystified as to how he ended up top of the bill for NYE. Or has he made a massive comeback that we were unaware of.

You obviously didn’t pay any attention in the summer - he played the main stage at Glastonbury in an afternoon slot and absolutely killed it, followed up by a session in the what was John Peel tent later the same day where he did an equally-well received cover set of The Smiths songs accompanied by Blossoms, he definitely had a bit of a resurgence!
