I do worry how all the pets will manage when people go back to work. They'll have got used to having company and won't understand where people have gone.

Ginger is going to be delighted. He's going to be in competition with parents seeing their children back to school for who's the most relieved

I think it’s a genuine risk for dogs in particular*. Hopefully people will be able to take a staggered approach and ease them in a bit.

Co-worker objecting to being ignored yesterday.
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.

I love those rosy. Fabulous.

Excellent cat co-working. :)) Pix's daily routine has not been enormously interrupted, as it consists entirely of sleeping and yelling for yoghurty fish paste. :lg: She's been enjoying sitting out with R, though, as usually the back door isn't open as she gets anxiety if it is left, in case of invaders.

My co-worker is turning out to be very very chatty. He's constantly grumbling and squeaking. I must record him one day. Anyway, he is no bother this morning:

My colleague waited for me to put the cushions out this morning then knocked down the back ones and arranged himself behind them. He’s really rather lovely.

Teddy is going to really struggle with this. He was massively problematic at the start of lockdown, has stabilised now and the good weather and large garden have been an absolute saviour. But it’s all going to regress again when things change back! 😩 Poor chap.

Here he is, cuddling his favourite shrub. He likes to lean right into it then lie down. He determinedly refused to look at me for the photo.

Oh Teddy

Avon will be the same. He’d settled in at home and gotten used to his alone time. It’ll be a big adjustment. But I’m planning on asking to WFH more when life returns a bit more to normal. Potentially 3 days a week (and I work short days anyway) so it should be better than before.

Oh teddy is lovely!

Lola will be thrilled when schools do Go back, Steph spends most of day “teaching her to be an acrobat” dressing her up, or carrying her around like a handbag. If the poor cat could write I swear she’d be writing to boris and begging him to end this lunacy 😂
