Did I tell you about my lecturer's cat? S (lecturer) apologised for the meowing on a Zoom as her cat was about to give birth. N (cat) is a pedigree ragdoll and S had paid £££ for a stud. She emailed us a couple of days later to tell us that N had had her kittens...and they were the image of the black and white tom next door (I did ask if they needed homes but apparently even the moggies were in great demand.)

She has never sat on anyone ever in the 11 years she's been with us. She won't even really sit near us if she can help it. She will sit at the end of my bed, but if I move, she will get off.

She's prone to attack if approached from the wrong angle, so I was keeping very still and doing minimal stroking. She used to sit on sb1's Chester and properly attack him if he tried to get his socks out of the top drawer.
