His over grooming left massive bald patches on his tummy but (as you can see) the anti anxiety meds have helped him alot.

He is certainly perfect now. How does he react to tummy tickles? Storm won't let me touch his tummy, he turns into a furry bracelet, with spikes. But weirdly he will let Zirk and he doesn't really like Zirk that much, he only loves me.

Tom doesn't like anyone touching his tummy either. He doesn't like being picked up either; think he equates it to a trip to the vets. The cattery surprised us by saying he liked being cuddled, which was news to us, it's all very much on his terms.
He does like a good neck/shoulder massage though

Tom & Ahab

Katy likes her tummy being stroked. Not too much though!

Does Tom like to be brushed? Quee hated to be cuddled for ages, but he’s always loved a brush (and we taught him the word), and now he insists I lie down every evening after he’s eaten, and give him a big hug .

Tom loves being groomed. I can't remember which turtle recommend the furminator but it's his favourite. He likes to sit facing away from me and I can give him his massage. I love when he looks over his shoulder indignantly when I stop, it's his little way of saying I need to carry on .
While we have dinner, he will patiently wait until we have finished and then walk with me to the sofa so he can sit on me.

Ella that is so cute

That really is cute, Ella. Storm loves a cuddle but when he's had enough he leaps up like someone has stuck a pin in him. It can be alarming when you are sleepy.

Is that a real arrest or a training exercise of some kind? I'm inclined to think the latter, based on the body language etc.

:mog: It’s pretty much what my cat did to me this morning when I let him into my bedroom.

That's so funny!
Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either, just fuck off and leave me alone.
