All the lovely pets on this thread.

I can now add Penny back to the mix, at 1am this morning she turned up, having been missing for three days. She was hungry but otherwise seems fine, I just cannot fathom where she has been, but so glad to have her home.

It's middle child's birthday today, she thought it was the best present ever when she woke up and found her back.

Arlo! :love2:

I also love Mungo, he's so pretty and funny.

The Goat cats are always brilliant too.

So pleased Penny is back, Hobbes, that's lovely news.

This is a good thread. I am particularly enamoured of Arlo, Goat's puddle of black cat and Tab's random box cat. :love2:

I am so pleased Penny is home, Hobbes, and she sounds like a cat who knows how to make an entrance :)).

Hurrah for Penny's return, Hobbes!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

I'm so glad Penny is back! You must have been worried. I imagine she's completely nonchalant about it and wondering what all the fuss is.

Of course it's not your cat that's taken to the den Tbas. :love2: I don't think I posted Bruce in the den here, maybe just on FB, so I will continue the theme of cat cubes being taken up by cats that don't belong to you. Perhaps they think they're additional housing, like prefabs, set up especially for passing cats to take shelter.

I don't think I have seen him being anything but a puddle of glossy black before. He's a wee sweetie.

He's really one of the nicest natured beings I've ever met. Except, apparently, when he's in his own home.

Is he still technically resident elsewhere? I thought he was more or less full time at your gaff these days.

He pops out and presumably some of the time goes home, but really seems to be here more often than he's not. His owner has my phone number (I don't have his) but has never contacted me, so who knows really. I am just worried that we really, really need to get the kitchen done and will have to move out for a while and take the cats and I worry about Bruce when we do that, so I keep putting it off, hence having no kitchen floor and half an oven and no door handle still.

Oh, that is tricky. :lg: I would be tempted to move him out with your cats, Moo would pine otherwise.

He would. J&D wouldn't much like it either, he's part of the household really and Joy much prefers him to Moo. I don't really know what to do, hence doing nothing while my house crumbles around my ears.

How long will it take and where will you go? If it is feasible, I think you should just bite the bullet and take him. :look:

Easy for me to say, obv.

I'm not sure, my guess is that the work would be about 3 months, but who knows, and we wouldn't necessarily need to be out the way the whole time. And we'd go wherever would take a short let with 3 cats. So I think his owner might notice someone had nicked him. :))

We could stay but I'm so worried about the cats getting out the front and also just being terrified the whole time. Plus I have to work somehow too. But maybe I'm better just shutting them in the bedroom during the day and going off to sit in a cafe to work.
