He's such a beautiful colour  And he has such a luxuriant tail; more fox than cat!

I love that you left the sofa.

My cousin has a new family member. He’s called Ray and was born in March. His favourite pastime is being cuddled.

Oh my goodness, what a cutie!
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.

Beatrix, do you mind me asking, does Mungo do a kind of multi-tonal trill whenever he jumps up onto something (like a table or a low wall)? Quee does them constantly and it’s the nicest, friendliest noise I’ve ever heard, but he’s the only cat I’ve known to do it.
Ruby does this too! When she's jumping up or running up the stairs.

They are sensible. I would prefer not to engage with Wednesday too.

Still there. Meanwhile I've had four conference calls and am now about to start my actual work. Something is wrong with this situation.

There is a lot of good cat action on the last few pages. And Ray! Is just ridiculous :love2:

Well he got up long enough to eat an enormous tea then went straight back to sleep. He must be growing again. I'm still pretty sure he'll be bouncing off the walls by midnight though, he can't sleep for 24 hours, surely.

Does he go out at night? We've been telling George what a lazy boy he is except when I read his cat flap he's spending all night out. He loves summer nights. I've found several dead things in the garden (big moths, mouse, a locust type of thing).

I bring him in about 9ish at the moment as we don't have the cat flap fitted yet. He doesn't like it, he wants to stay out, but I don't want him out all night with no way to get back in.

I'm lying on my bed reading now and he is awake and alternately trying to kill my toes or treading heavily on my collar bone in an excess of affection.
