Oh my. They are lovely. Here is Storm. He is not a very restful home working companion.

How's he doing today, Beanio? Pix just participated in a briefing via Teams by shouting for some yoghurty fish paste. :lg: I much preferred working from home when my whole company wasn't doing it and insisting on talking to each other. :lg:

He is exactly the same as usual and also contributed to my team meeting.

The black and white cat is a delight. I need to name him. Yesterday I went outside to stand in a parking space for my dad and Catface came over miaowing and rubbing against my legs. My dad thought it was hilarious when he arrived. Then the cat kept appearing at the front door, sitting very patiently and looking in as we had it open (dad was bringing in some furniture), then later coming to see us in the garden and yelling at us.

I have the laziest dog! She’ll probably wander down in an hour, looking for breakfast and a wee!

That's very sweet Margo. I love George's face, so characterful .

An even better thing happened than Teddy's twin thing. Someone posted to the rescue centre page that their daughter adopted a puppy who is now a 13 year old dog. The daughter sadly died a few years ago and asked the parents to look after her dog. The owners asked if anyone else had the other puppies from the same litter and sure enough, two of them came forward and posted photos of their dogs :love2:, one has passed away but the other is still here. I can't link to the thread for some reason but it was so heartwarming and bittersweet.

I love pets so much :love2:

Oh, that’s lovely.

My cats are such beacons of positivity at the moment. They really lift my spirits and, being cats, are so self-obsessed that I have no choice but to focus on their tiny demands .

I think the only thing keeping S sane while he's in all day is Tabitha. He's now taught her to catch hairbands in her two front paws when he throws them to her. He'll probably have her doing all sorts by the end of this.

Storm is totally the best thing in my life right now. I love him so much. He's so sweet and affectionate and funny and destructive. His fur is the softest thing I've ever touched, he is like warm velvet. He's really helping in this grim time. Pets are just so important.
