Hairspray is good for getting nail varnish off of carpet. Spray and then blot with kitchen roll.

There is progress. Storm has stopped running away and will be in the same room as her as long as he can be higher up. His ears are forward now and not laid back and he is not flicking his tail. He watches her in astonishment with occasional 'have you seen this nonsense' glances at me. She is utterly irrepressible and flings herself towards him then bounces away and he does the odd swipe when she gets too close but he is definitely very interested in her activities now.
Considering she is the size of a bread roll she is incredibly confident. And SO BUSY.
