Poor Moo. :(

Taffy is a packrat, apparently. She's taken over one of the many beds that Storm won't sleep in and yesterday she was sat right in the middle of it like a very small dragon surrounded by her loot which consisted of: a plastic bottle cap, 2 x mini roll wrappers, a nail file, a cotton bud and a piece of curly pink paper which she has been playing with for days.

She is SUCH a good girl . (Why do they love emery boards/nail files so much?)

Dot is crazy for emery boards, it's true. Maybe she's hinting that I should cut her nails, I never have and she's 14 this year.

Taffy. :love2: Embracing gender stereotypes despite being a cat.

I am sure Moo can disentangle himself because I have never woken to find him hooked on anything, he just prefers me to do it if I'm passing. Much like the cat flap.

I am now wondering whether to fetch Joy an emery board.

Do please and then tell us.

I can't believe Dot is 14.

She will be in April, as will Steve of course. Sometimes I still see his little kitten face when he holds his head a certain way, it always gives me a real pang.

I know what you mean. Storm is a massive bruiser now but still sometimes has his baby kitten face on.

I also find it hard to believe Dot and Steve will be 14. :love2: And I need to book an audience with taffy whilst she's still a tiny. :))

Joy and Darnell will be 14 next year too. Darnell is still a baby in most ways - tiny, chubby cheeks, still loves all the things he loved when he was tiny, like getting wet on purpose so he can be towelled. Joy, however, is absolutely an adult lady.

I can't believe Dot, Steve, Joy and Darnell are teenagers!

George is due his vaccinations so I'll ask the vet about nail clipping. He's in pet club so they can do it on his bi-annual visits surely. He'll not tolerate that business and I don't have chainmail gauntlets.

Wow!

Ziggy was also a fan of an Emery board.

I've never met a cat who didn't love an emery board. I wonder if it's because they must be covered in human smells because of all the nail dust?

She is a very silly girl tonight. ❤️ She keeps getting stuck in places and squeaking until rescued.

She is At Home to any visitors.

I don't own an emery board to test George.

(they make me feel sick as I can't bear sandpaper)

You’ve dodged a bullet there. It is quite unholy when they start chewing on them.

For your viewing pleasure, one tiny, sleeping void:

Note, proximity.
