Do you use LinkedIn for job hunting? It's very good in that regard. You can search by key words and set up job alerts based on job title or specific skills. Any jobs that are posted will usually say if it's full time or contract. You could also set up a job alert based on that criteria also.

E is in recruitment and spends a large part of his day on there. He also gives great tips and advice. I can get him to look at your LinkedIn profile if you want and see what he thinks?

Yeah, Linkedin is full of them. Check out Reed as well, they are the go to sites in my world.

I would also have no qualms telling a recruitment consultant to fuck off. A good one is worth their weight in gold, the wankers that sit on rows of benches with a phone and a screen to work from are like sewer rats.

Yes. Unless an agency has a specific role that you want to apply for, then avoid. LinkedIn would have more roles posted directly by companies by their own TA people. I'm aware I'm basing this on my industry which I know is different to yours

E is an in-house recruiter for specific roles but he will definitely have a look at your profile if you want. Or if there are specific roles that you are unsure on the job description he can have a look at that too.

LinkedIn has been hopeless really but I will press on. I would be very grateful Jupiter, thanks!

Reed are the ones who called me from the other end of the country and didn't read my CV. It's currently searchable on Indeed - is that worth doing? As I'm getting a few emails which are unsolicited and unsuitable.

PM me your profile on LinkedIn and I'll get him to have a look.
