I worked out it’s 13 weeks to the day since I was told, and 5 weeks since I was officially unemployed. So yes, quite a relief! It could be a while until I start though, but it means I can enjoy the free time rather than worry about it.

Is your new qualification relevant to the job, Wendy? (I hope so, I was thinking that it would be nice to have your choice to do it swiftly validated!)

It will help (it’s quite a compliance focused role, for an independent consultancy overseeing delivery of FM contracts to public sector clients*) but fortunately not dependent on having it as I won’t know if I’ve passed until April

It’s a good one to have on my CV for future anyway.

*Totally more my bag than going back to actual FM delivery.
