Basically I have a PDF to submit as an attachment to an Arts Council bid. This is my 'spare' time, so I can't ask our work marketing person, really. The PDF is currently 19KB. The limit for attachments is 10MB. A quick google says I can compress it, but I don't have a good enough Adobe on my PC (I don't think). My questions are 1) if it's compressed, will it still be reasonably viewable? 2) er, can anyone do that for me, please?
The next option is those aren't possible is to go back and rework it, but we need to get it in asap *and* that would be a pain in the arse, as the content has been fairly carefully selected.
Thank you.
Compressing a PDF - how does this work, please?

There are a few websites where you can do it for free, I can’t remember which ones I’ve used but it’s always been absolutely fine. I just google “compress pdf” usually and use whatever comes up first.

WinZip is a good option to use to compress a pdf (you can download a free trial I think)

Would there be a third option of uploading it eg to Google drive and submitting a downloadable link instead of an attachment? I realise it’s not what they have asked for but it would be quicker than reworking the document if you can’t compress it further.

Yes, just use WinZip or the free equivalent.

What am I missing? If the PDF is only 19KB and the attachment limit is 10MB then compressing is not needed is it?
