Re: Show your (craft)work
Thank you all. After all my doubts, I really enjoyed wearing the stripy dress yesterday. :))

Re: Show your (craft)work
I managed to get a top out of the fabric I bought for a dress that Elvis then claimed.
I’ve also made them both some jogging bottoms, which isn’t interesting. Sproglette loves having stuff that’s slim and long though. Elvis just got bonus joggers, she’s such an average size that I never need to make adjustments!
We have some button coasters/paperweights currently setting. The resin has bubbled a bit though.
ETA - photo finally added!

So much to catch up on! I love the earrings and the clothes. My favourite is the stripy dress though it looks so lovely on.
Betty wanted a new keyring and declared it had to be a rainbow one so I made this. I’ve since had to make another 7 for her friends/people in her LGBTQ youth group.

I’m taking apart broken/unwanted jewellery and repurposing it. First up lots of these spider buddies.
Because they are wire they can stand and hook onto things but I’m really struggling to photograph them like that.

Love the stripy dress OTH! And really love the idea of repurposing jewellery Kleio, those spiders are excellent!
I've just finished another square of my blanket/throw. I love that I just have to make 2 or 3 of each pattern and then move on to a new pattern/designer.

No ends! Well, one per square. Each time I change colours, I use an invisible knot. The only end I have is at the very end of the square... Discovering the invisible knot has completely changed crocheting for me. There are loads of invisible knot tutorials on YouTube but the first method in this video is the one I use: https://youtu.be/GvOgvEbAqxM

Do you do an invisible know and then crochet over the ends?Dutchie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 7:31 pmNo ends! Well, one per square. Each time I change colours, I use an invisible knot. Re: Show your (craft)work
No, you do the invisible knot and cut off the ends! It's most satisfying :))Cerise wrote: ↑Mon Oct 04, 2021 7:08 pmDo you do an invisible know and then crochet over the ends?Dutchie wrote: ↑Sun Oct 03, 2021 7:31 pmNo ends! Well, one per square. They are so cute! I've never heard of Tomte before. I love them.
I don't think I showed you my village show entry, it's a sort of junk journal although I hate that phrase.
