Re: Show your (craft)work
I’m not going to be going into the wreath making business
it looked so much better just after it was made but I think it needed more wire.

Re: Show your (craft)work
I’ve just ordered air dry clay and cookie cutters from Amazon. Be afraid!
I’ve been making god knows how many pom-poms and will crochet a string-thing to attach them to. I did a red version last year and some of my friends really loved it so I’m doing more… they’re lovely wound round fairy lights and hung over a mirror

All the wreaths are lovely!
That ring is something else though - I'd love to make one. The stained glass is beautiful too. I think I'd probably use it as a coaster or find a way to hang it on a window.
I'm going to give the seaglass tree a go as I've got TONS of the stuff.

Re: Show your (craft)work
Lily’s SIL asked me to copy her daughter’s Christmas stocking (made I think by Lily’s grandmother) for her son. She very kindly sent me T’s stocking and some leftover fabric so I had the original to copy and the same fabric for the outside.
I had to make it ever so slightly (about 1.5cm) wider because Z, a and c are wider letters than l and i. But I think they are pretty close to identical. You may have to click on the photo and enlarge it to see the beading and embroidery. (Side note; I took the beading out twice and redid it because I wasn’t happy with it!)

It is the same fabric; it looks different colours just because the nap has been brushed downwards on one.

Thank you! All I can see is what I could have done better. The y isn’t quite straight and one bit of it is slightly too wide. And the loops on the wrapped twisted chain embroidery (which was really difficult) aren’t quite perfect circles.
I suspect that I will only ever see the flaws :(

That would make me jump!
I did a little sale today. It wasn’t that busy but I did ok. The tea towels are a PTA fundraiser. :))

I collect nutcrackers and I like to paint them too. Cube asked for his own this year so I made this.
I still need to take a photograph of his Tree-Rex that I’ve made too.

I can show stuff as it’s opened now. This was fun to make.
