Although one came up from right at the edge of the pot and I definitely put the bulbs in the centre so maybe it grew from underneath?

My oxalis have come through, and what I think are the ranunculus, although I had to dig them out and carefully replant them because we had to move an edging to the bed, so not ideal. No sign of either dahlia, I literally just had a good look in the pots. I have no luck with dahlias at all really.

Weirdly, Dahlias seen to behave really well with me. I have no idea why though. I had cheap ones from Poundland last year and even they came up ok. I'd rather have Ranunculus though. So much so I bought some in Morrison's which I'm trying inside instead.

Had a trip to the garden centre (AND the tip! :toot:) on Monday. Summer bedding ahoy.

They only had multipack plug plant begonias so those don't look like like much yet. I also got some trailing verbena.

The peonies are out! They are really lovely ones and quite scented. I had to cut a few to bring inside because they were so heavy they almost bent to the ground! George also snapped one playing football so that’s come in too

Ooh lovely! I'm going to a garden centre next week and I am genuinely a bit beside myself with excitement (it's been a hard week  )

Those cosmos are so much more advanced than the 10 billion tiny cosmos seedlings I have. I'm sure mine will be ready for Christmas or something :lg:

I was SO excited. It was lovely though, wandering around amongst colourful things. Even the dump was quite fun. :l:

I was surprised by the cosmos size. They seemed to have mostly plug plants or large things which have maybe been kept going since March by the growers. Not so much in between except pelargoniums and busy lizzies, of which all shapes and sizes.

Beautiful roses!

Our clematis is in full take over mode. We need to cut it back ASAP.

That peony is gorgeous.

Last few. Indigofera (with salvia hot lips next to it) early gladioli amongst the daisies and self seeded campanula.

Lovely Rebs! Is your garden on a slope? Your campanula is way ahead of mine too.

Yes it's similar to yours in that way. :))

The garden has 3 different levels with the house and main patio on the middle one. Then it slopes down to the road below. The indigofera and the gladioli etc are all on the lowest flat level before the descent to the road.

If that makes any sense at all.

I get it. So yours slopes down from the house? I'm always interested to see how other people have dealt with the slope!
