I fifnished To Live and Die in LA, it was interetsing enough but not one that really hooked me in. The Missing Cryptoqueen is still ongoing but I'm also listening to Dolly Parton's America which I really like - I  Dolly.

I'm listening to the Missing Cryptoqueen one as well. I like it. It fits in well with my current MLM obsession too.

i have just finished Murder Most Foul, about the murder of a young woman in Aberdeen in 1999. I have no memories of the case despite being around the same age as the victim at that time. It's a sad story although it is one of those podcasts that doesn't really tell you lots of new things.

Just started The Lighthouse, about a Belgian backpacker who disappeared earlier this year, in Byron Bay. It's by the Australian, the paper that did The Teacher's Pet. I'm only one episode down but I'm liking it so far.

I’m on with MMF at the minute, Sal. I wasn’t sure about it at first but I’m quite into it now.

I’ve also been listening to Hunting Warhead, which has been really good. It’s about child sexual abuse and some parts were a challenging listen, but the production was excellent and the story was handled with sensitivity, both to the victims and the listener.

I thought MMF was finished but there have been more episodes.

I finished the Lighthouse too, and have also been listening to the latest Slow Burn series. Its about thr murders of Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls. I know absolutely nothing about rap/hip hop but it has been really interesting.

By Timothy! They’ve been out to buy cigarettes and started a phone call by saying something like “hellair? Is this Plumpton 4251?”

I LOVE IT. It’s often on Radio 4 Extra when I can’t sleep. Steve is just so dashed brave and elegant.

She is, isn’t she :love2:.

I could probably find this out by Googling, but do you know which mystery was the one with something to do with a watch and a cruise ship? That was the first one I listened to, I think it was in 2007 and I’d love to hear it again.

I think it was The Sullivan Mystery and I had no idea that half the original recordings were lost, so that one is a remake. I’m so glad they remade them!

I really want to listen to them all now.

Apologies if I'm repeating anybody (a search didn't throw anything up) but I zoomed through "The Dropout" this weekend. The story of Theranos, a blood testing company set up by a young female Steve Jobs-alike that was utterly fraudulent.

Still don't understand how she managed to dupe so many supposedly sharp people, including those at VC companies (do they do no due diligence??) but it's fascinating stuff.

I have not! It's on my list.

I am however spiralling firmly down the dodgy medical fraud rabbit hole at the moment 😄 I've followed The Dropout with Bad Batch (Wondery podcast) and am now watching the Theranos HBO documentary.
