I am listening to Truth and Lies which is about Jeffrey Epstein. It's well done although obviously quite a difficult topic.

I was scratching around for something new yesterday (I'm going through The Lighthouse right now) so this is well timed, thanks!

No problem, theres only been a few episodes so far but it's good.

BBC Sounds has some great stuff on. I am loving You're Dead To Me, a history podcast, and also The Whisperer in the Dark, a mystery series which is quite scary.

Have you tried Broken: Jeffrey Epstein. It's way better than Truth and Lies. It's hosted by Julie Brown (I think), the woman from the miami herald who broke the story.

Tracks on iplayer is good too.

I listened to T&L (the available ones anyway), found ot interesting. What's better about the other one Baa? Do they cover the same ground?

I only managed to find an hours worth of truth and lies (maybe less) , have I missed some? Broken is longer, and talks through some history of Epstein and Maxwell, has more in depth interviews with the women, they talk about the legal shite that went down in detail, and Julie brown talks about the history of her reporting of it.

I think T & L is still being released each week, there are quite a few still to come.

I will check out Broken though.

There are three available now, with more to be released (not sure how many). I think it is going to cover it in some depth.

Ahh, I thought it was done. I would still recommend Broken after the first episode of T&L.

On the subject of sex offenders, Chasing Cosby seems interesting too. And I listened to a podcast about that doctor who abused all of the gymnasts, that was good. Ahha! It's called Believed.

I finished Broken and thought it was really good. Im still listening to Truth and Lies too. I also listened to FAKE Heiress on BBC Sounds, it's an interesting story but fir some reason they decided to do reenactments of certain parts of the story and the acting/accents are just woeful!

I went to listen to Fake Heiress yesterday, Sal - the mini dramatisation aspect put me off so I deleted it. I will have a look for Broken and Truth and Lies.

I thought the same, sally and Edith. The accent of the person who played Anna Delvey was just so awful I could barely stand to listen to it.

I didn’t even get as far as hearing an accent I was just ‘nope’

Does broken cover different ground to T&L sal? I'm finding T&L interesting.

I need some new things to listen to. I'll swerve something with bad accents though!

Oh interesting! I felt like he was very guilty but I guess most of any evidence they have is circumstantial. It'll be interesting to see how it goes.

Tim Harford has started a new podcast called Cautionary Tales, which is quite good.

I've tried the Fake Heiress. Yeah, no. Can't bear the dramatisation.
