Christmas crafts 2019

Incorporating hobbies, computer games, Verm's Interesting Links and anything else you can think of excluding football and other spectator sports because these belong in the Sport section, but allowing sports you play yourself with your own body as that counts as a pastime.

I’ve been painting and varnishing these as a gift for Betty. I drew it out and got a local woodperson to knock it up for me then I’ve done the Galaxy style paint job and repeated it on some storage boxes from The Works.

It’s going to be a wardrobe and storage for her larger dolls. I’m also hoping to make some outfits for it and I need to do clothes hangers and little bits like that.

I've made (painted up) these as gifts, for a set of brothers, and our new step niece.

Smal and Kleio those are gorgeous, I wish I had one crumb of your talent :hbeat:.

I am sick of doing stuff I don’t feel like doing, so I sacked it all off and made Nigella’s Christmas pudding bonbons which were very soothing to make, satisfying to look at and taste a lot better than I expected. So yay.

I've made a squirrel for The Bf's mum (they remind her of his sister/her daughter)

12 sheets of card! I bought a pattern off of etsy, ordered the card, printed the pattern on to the card and then did a lot of cutting and sticking.

I need to tidy some of the glue splatters, and make it some acorns.

Once I was on a roll, it wasn't too tricky! I'm going to make mumbaa a gorilla, and quite fancy a stag's head for my wall.

The wreath I made yesterday. I'm not sure about the hessian wrapping.

That squirrel is amazing, Baa! Do post a picture of the other animals you make, I'd love to see them.

The wreath is brilliant, smal. I always fancy making a wreath for our door, but I have nothing to hang it from.

We didn't either until we changed the door. I used to hang it from a nail in the wall next to the door. I do really like have the knocker to hang it from now though.

Did you draw your noses with a normal orange felt tip?

Smal, I love your painted letters. What a lovely gift they’ll make.

I know this isn’t craft as such but I’m gonna bing this here anyway as I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.
