My garden is an absolute mess. I’ve got rotten tomatoes all over my veg patch. Need to get clearing. Tomatoes were an absolute disaster. I was so hopeful!

Oh dear about the tomatoes. :sad: I've given up on all veg, herbs and fruit except raspberries, lavender and rosemary.

The other side of the house is a bit dull and overgrown right now but the callicarpa is just going purple so should be good soon.

My cherry toms were a dream but the full sized ones were a complete disaster. Courgettes still churning out. Might have to pull it out this weekend for the greenhouse patio which will at least put us out of our Courgette misery

The gardener came to prune stuff last week, but the borders probably could still do with a good weed and he’s yet to prune back in the front. I also need to give both a mow.

The cosmos that my massage therapist grew from seed in lockdown to earn a little cash are only just coming into flower. I like the foliage though. My Japanese anemones and fuchsias are still going strong, and the hibiscus in my front garden that has never flowers before has just started!

The lilies I planted in pots from bulbs about 6 weeks later than I should are in flower, but the gladioli I ordered and planted at the same time have c9me up blind this year.

Hello gardeners. We had our garden completely renovated over the summer and now I want to plant some bulbs for next year.

My wish list is:
Snowdrops
Loddon Lily
Daffodils/ narcissi
Bluebells
Camassia
Crocus
Tulips
Alliums

Am I missing anything obvious? And are there any specific recommendations for any varieties before I spend a fortune? I want all the things.

Grape hyacinths? I flipping love those. And normal hyacinths infact! I love all the spring bulbs.

Tulips and allium are the best though. Get some globemaster allium.

I love all tulips but double ones are almost like roses and can be really spectacular.

Get at least a couple of the really massive-headed alliums.

The supermarkets, including the discounters, should have spring bulb packs coming into stock fairly soon, and they’re generally good quality at a good price, if you wanted to hang in for them?

They are. I have some red and yellow ones, and purple and white ones.

You might want to look at Nerine Bowdenii. They provide flowers Sep-Dec and have a bit of height to them.
