We have a wormery, Baar.

We tidied today and Mr D tried to put up the plastic greenhouse he'd bought. It didn't go well and is now back down and in the shed.

Our bokashi bin is yielding tons of liquid feed so I de-weeded the plots our bare root hedging is in to give them the best start and fed them with the liquid feed.

A wormery is cool! A bokashi bin sounds intriguing, I have an ordinary compost bin, I must research.

I should add that I won't be eating my worms, they're there for helping the composting process.

More new re landscaping. We've hopefully got a big delivery of timber coming tomorrow that we've been waiting for, so we can carry on with the garden projects.

Oh that's looking really good Smal, where did you get the timber from? I'm also in need of a delivery!

This stuff we've had since the autumn but the new stuff we ordered through screwfix, its actually coming from a company called Forest Delivery though.

Wow, your garden is looking quite impressive smal. Hope the timber comes. I don’t think I’ll be trying the mealworm:bacon substitute

We started off our veggies today, some in the greenhouse and some in the dining room. I really hope we get such a good crop as we did last year. We’ve done French beans, dwarf beans, mangetout, peas, gem squash, butternut, tomatoes, cucumber, kale, cauliflower, cabbage, lettuce, rocket and lots of courgettes. We also weeded out all the herbs and some of them seem to be doing okay.

And some sunflowers as we plant them along the vegetables and they seem to really attract the bees.

I've pressure washed the paving slab path round my greenhouse, and have made pea and bean structures. READY.

This all looks fabulous.

Our greenhouse won't be going up as it was a nightmare last week and ideally needs a min of four people to assist. In this climate that's not going to happen.

We started some seeds indoors and our bare root hedging is really coming into its own. I'll take a picture of it tomorrow.
