That's really good! How big is it?
Lazzbo, what was your pattern question? Have I missed it?

Laid out like that, it’s about 70x54cm but each square will have an extra round as I join and then there’ll be a border.

Re: Show your (craft)work
That’s lovely, those colour combinations are really effective. How annoying about the yarn shortfall! It reminds me of the chest cover I made a few years ago, it took me ages to appropriately arrange all the granny squares so that I didn’t get any close repeats of colours, whilst keeping the 2 different background greens in a checkerboard pattern.
It’s quite grubby and worn now - there have been several drink spills as it’s next to me when I lie on the sofa and is a handy place to prop a mug whilst reading- but here it is anyway.

Yes! I have worked it so there is one of each outer colour and one of each inner colour in each row of eight. I have ignored the second colour and the rows of six!

Both of them are lovely and you’ve chosen really good colours for them.
This made me a little teary this evening.

Well done Kleio.
Cerise, that's so frustrating about the yarn shortage. Did you crochet faster and faster towards the end of the ball to try and race it to finish?
Hippy, that's lovely too.
I'm currently JAYGOing a similar thing which is destined to be a sofa throw for SD#3 in Brussels. She wanted something cheery and bright as an antidote to the grey skies and rain.
I'll dig out a photo.

I didn’t, SM, no. It’s ok because I have the yarn but I hoped to do all the white outline from one ball. I found a small leftover ball so used that and now I’ve started the joining. The method I’m using seems pretty cool and clever!

It is a continuous tight join. She also refers to “PLT” but I haven’t been arsed to google that.

I'll measure it later. I wanted it to be big enough to snuggle under while on the sofa.

You're a craft heroine, Kleio!
Lovely crochet work going on here, guys. The colours are a dream, I love a rainbow of shades.
Morgs - no, haven't asked you my question yet. Can't quite find where I've put the project. But I will! Got to finish a knitted dress for a seven year old, first.

This looks a bit crap compared to everything else now, but here we go anyway. Really I just painted some eggs, using childlike levels of skill

That's cute!
I hate my blanket. I might start something else. I've forgotten how to do a granny square so might relearn that and copy you all.
