Show your (craft)work

Incorporating hobbies, computer games, Verm's Interesting Links and anything else you can think of excluding football and other spectator sports because these belong in the Sport section, but allowing sports you play yourself with your own body as that counts as a pastime.

Only because I like either the givers (Betty) or the receivers (my friend).

A local museum is having a Beatrix Potter event. A team of us have made hundreds of small rabbits and other creatures for them to hand to every child that attends one of their story time events.

However, we decided to do some proper characters and they’re going on display.

They are lovely!

You are all so good!

Hippy, I adore your snowy tree, it's absolutely beautiful.

I’ve been helping my Mum to make a coronation crown. She made all the components and I put it together and decorated it. We’ve got two more to do for window displays (a craft cafe and a gluten free place I use)

We joked about doing a Freddie style photo shoot and Betty drew the short straw. She hated me initially  but changed her mind and said we’d need to sort a full out fit for her at some point.

I made a jumper. Super chunky and timed for the upturn in temperature.

I love the shape of that, and it's chunkiness.

Thank you! P said he liked it but also referred to the Michelin man.

I finished my pyjama bottoms, nightie, top and trousers in time for my trip! The nightie was going to be the top to my pyjamas but there was plenty of fabric and I have a grey top I can use instead.

I’m not sure if the photo is clear enough but I bought the turquoise for the trousers than realised the stripe in the pink stash fabric is a very close match.

Good work, Wendy! Having been consigned to yet another week of isolation, I'm now craving some pjs. I must have a look in the stash and see what I can conjure up. :)) Meanwhile, I've finally finished an embroidered square that I promised for a community quilt project. The dancers are supposed to represent a national-award winning group, from a school run by our local postmaster. Seemed appropriate from me, given the amount of post we send these days.
