Hope it’s good fun regardless of it’s a repeat for you or not.

I had a short lunchtime walk unplanned as my garage door jammed and I couldn’t get my car out so we walked to lunch locally instead. Then I did glutes and hamstrings after work.

I’ve done workout 2 this morning. It feels familiar but different, so who knows. :))

First class completed after my comp. My legs are still feeling a bit heavy but managed some good deadlifts and think I repeated my one rep max (105kg). Running was included in the workout (just 200m) and actually felt quite good doing it.

Congratulations Cerise. I still count running specifically C25K as one of the hardest things I've ever done in my life.

I had my final big'ish session before the Half on Sunday.

2km warmup
2km tempo 5:00/5:15 km pace
4 x 1km threshold - anything faster than 5:00 km pace
2km cool down

My pacing is getting so much better and was pretty consistent

Well done Cerise!!

I had a go at running this morning for the first time since this bout of covid. On the plus side my chest was fine but my legs were so heavy! I cut it short at just over 3k.

Nice one Tex, its good that your chest is in good nick. And well done Duo! That must be so difficult with all of those ups and downs in pace.

I did another three and a half easy miles last night but it was great to be out again. I am due to go again tonight too but I might give it a miss, I shall see.

I stuck four miles in the bag tonight. It was really hard going to start with, but then it was my third night a row. Finished strongly though and even with a cacked up timing, this was my strongest run of the week so I am very pleased with myself at the moment.

Much further to go though.

Will rest up tomorrow before starting again on Friday.

Excellent work Cerise :bel:

It’s good to listen to your body, Tex.

I did full body today. In 97% humidity/a storm. It was sticky.

Haha! Nooooo!

Current goal is to shift two stone of excess beer belly, once I have done that (it shouldn't take long) then I will have a think....

Well done Cerise, that’s brilliant!

I’ve not done much this week after finding a 10k really tiring on Sunday. I did have an hour of badminton practice today though.

I wasn’t expecting to feel ok for Pilates, but I did so that’s where I went tonight. It was a gentle class thankfully. J had a diffuser going with essential oils which was nice.

Hill reps tonight but I had quite a big hypo on my way there from the office so I took it dead easy. Still, its another couple of miles in the bank and I should be in a good place to go tomorrow morning.

Very slow Parkrun done but I was just glad to get round. I made a definite decision to walk up the hills before I started but actually I didn’t really have a choice when it came to it.

Just under ten and a half miles on the trail this morning which was really lovely. It's such a great place to be.

That said, I'm looking forward to resting up tomorrow.

That’s hardcore, Alan. Enjoy the rest!

I wrapped up September with an easy upper body session.
