I'm pretty sure that anything other than magnesium is just snake oil. Even then, it has to be proper magnesium rather than stuff you buy at Boots etc.

I take Pure Sport lionsmane mushroom capsules and it's been amazing. No brain fog and tons of focus. One weird side effect is that I've stopped yawing, I'll yawn maybe once or twice a week.

I once took Lion's Mane supplements before an interview and the got an ominous rumbling in my guts. Nearly shat myself. :mog: So be careful if you have any history of mushroom-related ... er... intolerance.

Years ago in a very different job, someone in the know said she was an absolute cnut to work with on a shoot, and insisted on speaking to those around her only in French.

Along with my HRT tablet I take a probiotic, stomach enzymes and two hefty magnesium tablets each night before bed.
They all do a job and if I'm ever out of one of them I can tell the difference.

I do wonder if its the HRT or better gut health that has improved my anxiety.

Such a pity! Back in the 80s she and Linda Evangelista were my favourite super models.

Currently trying to find a similar supplement to the Elle one (which still sounds brilliant tbh)...

The other week, one of the Yr9s at D’s school bought some kind of mushroom supplement from TikTok, made his own “energy drink” and gave it to those stupid enough to try it. Several kids were unwell, one vommed and one fainted. :))

I have recently started taking these, due to being suggestible. This could explain a few things.

I tried mushroom stuff in my coffee quite a few years back and I didn’t notice much impact at the time - nor that particular side effect. However I also tried collagen for a while and it took me a bit to realise it was what was messing my stomach up on a regular basis so I stopped it.
Half-ten?! Half-ten?! I've never been up at half-ten! What happens?
