W4D1. I feel quite victorious even though I was flapping around lacking co-ordination. I couldn't use my 3kg weights throughout and I followed modified woman a lot but at least it is done and can only get better.

Well done. I find the first day of a level is always a bit of a car crash

It didn't even register as exercise on my fitbit!

Mine has only registered once  I don’t have an HR though.

L3D1: As predicted that was a bit of a car crash  The walking planks at the beginning were a killer for my shoulder but after that there was less strain on it than in L2. I managed big girl walking press-ups for the first set and dropped to knees for the second. The less said about sumo jumps the better

Oh well done! W4 ripped reminds me of L3 shred. I had to do plie jumps which are similar, and I was really rubbish on the renegade rows with an added press up so did most of that on my knees. I'm still rubbish doing it on my knees because I don't get the angle of my lower body correct; my knees are too far forward.

There is so much jumping in this level! Jumping lunges though :ttth:

I feel your pain. I'm whacked out after that! W4D2; that was easier than yesterday in terms of co-ordination but that means it was harder because more effort went into it. I don't know if it's registered as exercise on the fitbit yet as I've still been moving around since finishing it 10 mins ago so it might still think I'm in exercise mode. It might not though  . 3kg weights on the first rep of each move, then had to switch to the lighter ones to continue. I'm terrible on the press up/ plank things where you switch from hand down to forearm then back up and down with alternate arms. Not helped by doing it on a towel on the wooden floor. I should pick up a mat really.

That’s the one that gave my shoulder gip yesterday.

Well done getting it out of the way early, mine will be another 9pm effort I think.

It's a killer even without existing shoulder weakness. I'll be joining you late on Friday, if I have the will, as I won't get back home until 8ish.

My arms are looking better though - Monk was marveling at my biceps yesterday  - and my shoulders and when the light is right my stomach, despite its pad of fat, has discernible hints of muscle.

Friday is A’s football presentation at 6pm so I will be forgoing my Friday lunch out and shredding early. I can’t risk drinking too much and accidentally missing Day 24

I think my pad of stomach fat might be firmer if not smaller, that’s as far as I’m prepared to go

I am unimpressed with my stupidity in starting it in the first place

L3D2: I have given up even trying the full version of travelling press ups or jumping lunges. Otherwise only the sumo jumps give me real trouble. It’s a relief to have the hardest cardio on circuit 1 (mountain climbers + sumo jumps) and get it out of the way. I must admit I was in far less pain than I expected this morning

This really helps, mentally. Hurrah for less pain than anticipated

I'm feeling the effect's from today in my shoulders. In a nice achy way.

W4D3. It's still not registering as exercise  but I was better at the more complicated moves today, used the heavier weights more today and followed the modified woman less today.

L3D3: mine hasn’t registered as exercise either  I have made my peace with following Anita for the jumping lunges, sit ups and at least one set of travelling press-ups but otherwise I’m coping. I think I should up my weights for the plank row but I keep forgetting to bring the heavier ones downstairs.

In other news my belt is doing up a hole tighter.

L3D4: I don’t think lunchtime exercise will grow on me tbh but it’s done. I think it’s getting easier. Some exercises (sumo jumps, I’m looking at you) hurt a lot at the time but I’m not feeling nearly so much in the way of aftereffects. Looking forward to something different though, only six (6) days to go!!
