No she's finally back to full health after her birthday :touchwood: I just realised that I only had 2 tests left because I'm a frequent tester (my family basically hate me and think I'm paranoid). I won't go as far as putting tests in the kids' stockings though!

They are no longer free here so it would be a very welcome gift Emma!

Sadly I’ve tested positive for Covid. I’ve cancelled my dad coming for Xmas as I can’t risk him getting it, youngest is staying at her boyfriends for a couple of days, and middle is delaying coming here until Xmas eve in the hope we are at least a bit less germy by then. Eldest couldn’t come home this year anyway because she’s working, which has probably turned out to be a blessing.

Third Xmas in a row spoilt by Covid.

Oh hobbes, I'm sorry. I hope it's mild and you feel better soon.

I'm lucky that I have a few free boxes that are still in date so we can test daily. Also D can get us some from work if necessary.

I'm just hoping C stays clear otherwise next week will also be a write off.

Ah, Hobbes, that's absolutely rotten. I hope you don't feel too rubbish at least.

And Bramble, fingers crossed for C.

Fingers crossed for C, Bramble!

I feel fine apart from a runny nose, Mr H is quite rough though, hope all the other poorlies are ok and recover quickly.

I was supposed to be going to a concert with friends tonight, very gutted to miss out on that.

I have also tested positive. No symptoms but I tested as I was going to see my parents today and my stepdad has just finished a course of radiotherapy. This is the second time this has happened. I hope those of you who are poorly with it feel better soon

Sorry so many more of you are coming down with it :(

I feel rough today. I was jabbed less than 2 months ago, so I was hoping to get off with fairly light symptoms :(

It's ridiculous. I was looking at the Zoe app earlier and there is a massive spike in our area

People (not here) do seem to be acting as though it’s totally gone, though. Get well soon, everybody.

It’s rampant here too. The number of people in ICU has doubled in the past couple of weeks, although it’s still fairly low compared with the worst of Covid.

Lots of people I know are on their second go around, just in time for Christmas.

On the plus side, I haven’t heard anything about monkeypox for months.
