The nights are always the worst, aren’t they? I hope it wasn’t too rough for you both and you’re not too bad today.

Oh no Bramble, I’m sorry, I hope you feel a bit better today.

I’m fully recovered, but still showing as positive today, as is Mr H, and he’s still quite I’ll with it.

We’ve suggested the girls stay at their respective boyfriends house if it’s not too weird for them, and we will try for having Xmas on Boxing Day instead, or even the day after if we are still not showing negative. Mr H and I will then just isolate together and pretend tomorrow isn’t Xmas.

Middle daughter is off to Vienna just after New Year to celebrate her 21st so she really doesn’t want to get it, bless her.

Hope she manages to avoid it, Hobbes :fc: Our 2 haven’t succumbed yet but it feels inevitable (we haven’t really isolated from them indoors as they both chose not to).

I’m still positive and feeling pretty rough after a false dawn yesterday. It’s definitely not as bad as the first time, but I’d still prefer not to feel like this tomorrow

J has tested positive now too, unsurprisingly. Luckily I suddenly feel almost fine today, so it’s my turn to play nursemaid as he’s feeling quite rough. My poor sis in York has tested positive too and is about to face her third solo Christmas in a row due to Covid. I feel so bad for her as she loves Christmas.

Hopefully everyone is over the worst very quickly and can enjoy tomorrow.

C's had a bad day (the man-covid is real ;) ). He's still got a high temp but it's coming down.

I felt a bit better this morning so have pottered about in the kitchen for most of the day.

I'm now in the bath after a wave of exhaustion hit.

The very worst thing is that I can't taste my food.

I'm still very strongly positive.

I hope you can enjoy Christmas on whatever day you choose it to be!

Haha. I’m expecting a bit of man-covid here ;-) I have barely any sense of smell or taste either, it’s very odd. Hasn’t stopped me chowing at the chocs, though.

Glad his temp is coming down and hope you both have better nights tonight.

Sorry for all the turtles that have had their Christmas spoilt (again) by bloody Covid. It just seems relentless. Hope you all get to enjoy a postponed Christmas!

How are all the poorlies?

We were hoping to have a postponed Xmas day dinner today but we are still showing as positive. :elf:

Will you piss off covid, I just want to see my kids! :tantrum:

Fingers crossed you’re clear soon, Hobbes.

Still positive here too (since Weds). I had a rough night but feel marginally better today :fc:

Hello my be-plagued pals. I think after five days you're no longer contagious, Hobbes?

I tested positive today and feel like shit and I've ruined the last Boxing Day at my parents' house because sixteen people were supposed to be coming and now, obviously, aren't coming.

Aww Lazz, that's shite, but you haven't ruined anything. It could happen to anyone.

Thanks sal. Honest to God, I'm never doing a good deed and inviting anyone else over for Christmas again, just in case. :))

For the best, just stay home and drink all the booze yourself :health&safety:

Oh lazz. It's just the way of things. I hope you feel better soon.

Day 6 and I feel so much better. I managed a full night in the same pyjamas so I'm counting that as a win!

Still testing positive and am absolutely knackered but I'm just left with a blocked/runny nose, headaches and relentless tiredness.

C is also feeling better but again not right yet.

That tiredness is something else isn't it. I was shocked by it. I hope you can continue to rest up.

Oh no! Let me know if you need deliveries. Last Boxing Day, though? Moving?
