It's too warm to run.

Yesterday - 1 hour weight circuit and 1 hour bike ride. I pulled a muscle in my thigh but it seemed ok until 40 minutes into today's weight circuits lunging with too heavy weights made it go again. I decided to stop but went for a 1.5 hour walk instead. I think I'll rest for a few days but I am planning three walks tomorrow of varying lengths.

Yes it is.

Ouch. I am amazed you can fit 3 walks into 1 day. I’m lucky to manage 1.

Now I wfh permanently I've taken to taking a brisk 25 minute walk every morning before work at 6:30 and one late afternoon for an hour (or a bike ride) and I only work for 2.5 hours on a Wednesday so the extra walk will be tagged on to my walk into town for groceries. This wfh malarky makes for a very sedentary sluggy sloth here so I've decided I need to move a lot more to mimic the travelling to various floors and departments and coffee machine visits I used to do at the office pre-2020.

Well done! I did start trying to get back into routine but I’ve given up till the weather breaks. I have at least walked the dog.

Well done, nine. I've been in bed up until 20 minutes ago as I felt a bit delicate after last night.

I didn't take a break and continued with approx hour workout plus two walks every day except yesterday but then I did 26,000 steps yesterday so it wasn't a low activity day (unlike today).

26,000, Disco! I think I did less than 1,000 yesterday

I have just done a quick but intense and very hot kettlebell workout.

I only did 12,006 yesterday

Bloody hell though, well done on your kettle bell stint. I’m not doing anything today except have already taken a walk and will do another one later. I’ll get back in it tomorrow when it’ll be only 27 degrees.

That will feel positively chilly compared to this. I had hoped to go for a walk last night but it was still 34C at 8pm.

Good work!

I've had a bad back for the last two weeks. I pulled something working out but I think I'm going to get back into it tomorrow although I'm not sure what to do.

Ouch, hope it’s feeling better.

I am marginally less achy that I was on Thursday morning but still feeling something. I will try to run later.

I might revive Shred. I’m still being a bit rubbish.

I find shred is a good one to start with after a bit of a break because it’s a bit of everything but short.

I've decided to continue with my break. My back isn't 100% so I'm getting in two walks a day and I'll see how the week pans out.

Yeah, I think so. I don't want to set myself back being too hasty.

That sounds sensible.

I have run. The less said about it the better.
