Did a five mile trail tonight, it was slow, it hurt and it was absolutely fucking glorious.
And it was with actual people too! \o/

Fab, TC! Sounds like you're doing great.
45 minute youtube barre workout this morning. I loved it, and there was plenty glute stuff so I think that might help with my knee rehab.

How did you decide on what PT to go with, Pawpads? I've sometimes thought about getting a PT but lots of things put me off, mainly around my intense social awkwardness.
My PT is the lady that does the local bootcamp that I've been to a few times. I didn't even know that she did PTing and asked her if she knew of anyone. It was quite handy as I already knew her a bit and couldn't be bothered to do any more searching. To be fair though, she is very socially awkward, which I quite like as there is no chit chat or getting too friendly. She tells me what to do and I do it.

Great seeing you back on Strava, Cat.
Can you link to the barre workout, Penny?

That sounds like my perfect set up too Pawpads.
Here it is Duo

I thought the instructor would be a bit irritating at first but I soon got used to her.

That sounds just right, pawpads.
I noticed you’d been doing a lot more miles, Duo. Ramping it up seems a bit more (mentally) doable as it gets closer to the end, I think. I’ve upped mine to see whether I stand any chance of catching the 800 buzzard - I seriously doubt it, but worth a crack
I can’t believe you’re doing bootcamps and other exercise too though! I can barely move when I’m not running (aka shuffling).
Hope the knee improves with some variation, Penny.

I'm not losing any weight, mind. I'm eating like a horse but the additional exercise is somehow making me more motivated.

I’ve left myself with 6 blooming miles to do
I will have to jog/walk and take a bottle.

Oh no Mojo! I am cross with myself for not doing it but I’m about to go and get the washing in so if it’s cooled down I might go out. It won’t be 6 miles though

4 miles in the pouring rain at a run/walk as my running buddy got stuck in a traffic jam that has only just cleared and it was all I had in the tank as I am sore sore sore.

God, you two are just machines! I am in awe of the distances you are doing.
A 6km walk this evening. It was warm!

I went to dance step and it was SO good to be back! Just amazing.
I also did the fiitmum challenge fitness tests in the garden this morning. I’ve got worse since the start of July but it was warm, and I added weights to the squats and lunges so that was always going to affect the numbers.

That doesn’t sound like you’ve got worse to me!
How was the coordination in Dance Step?

I've also sacked any form of exercise off for today (and yesterday), but am eyeing up a trail run for tomorrow, but it will be on my own.

I didn’t run in the end but I did hang out with Jillian Michaels instead. Today is too hot to move so rest day today and a run at the weekend. I might go for a bike ride too.
