I’ve done HIIT and I’m just one Pilates behind.

Thursday is turning out to be a busy day for exercise! A walk prior to work, walk to and from the gym where I did 1 round of boxing  then some arms and weights, the a 30 minute SPRINT class.

C has missed out on booking the kettlebells class he likes next week, so he’s booked for clubbercise instead. I’ve told him he’ll need glow sticks.

Four rounds exactly! I started with jumping squats and lunges and quickly realised that my legs are too weary from Dance Step.

Dance Step was wholly excellent this morning. We’re just at the stage where we’ve all nailed the routine, which means a new one is coming. :uhh:

I think you're on your own with the Friday challenge, Pip

I did 6.5 miles with my running buddy this morning.

Oh and clubbercise is the sort of thing I'd scoff at but accidentally stumble into a class and absolutely love.

The final HIIT is done! ✅ It was a 300 workout, so my choice on number of reps of lunges, kicks, can-can, and press ups, etc.

I’ve just got the Pilates left, but I’m going to do it as my reward for finishing the fitness tests tomorrow. This will be the first time I’ve ever finished bang on time, I think.

We planned a cycle ride out to a newish ice cream place today but A was a bit mutinous after a week of football camp so MrTex drove him while L and I cycled. 21k with quite a lot of climbing. My legs hurt now.

We walked yesterday (7km) and as we had booked a table, ended up in the bar for a pint or two :rebs:

I thought it’d be fitness tests, but J went and added in a “bonus” workout. So I’ve done a lot more than intended today and the fitness tests are tomorrow.

That’s fantastic, Pip! How do you feel? You seemed pretty positive throughout this one.

I’m into my second full on, do nothing rest day after Outrun 12 on Saturday.

I managed 41.74 miles - 15 loops of the course. I walked a couple towards the end but ran (slowly jogged) most of it. I wanted 40, as an improvement over the 31 I managed last year (with a lot of walking last year). I’m so pleased :)) The results have just come up and I was 19th out of 48 solo runners - that massive for me as I’m very often in the last 10% or so of most events that I do.

Anyway, sorry to bore on. I’ll see you on the September thread when my legs are working again

It’s not boring at all! I’m fascinated by your stats. Less so my husband’s when he bores on about them.

I also think the Tikibees are an excellent match for your club shirt!

I think I feel pretty happy with the whole thing. I’m glad I’ve had time and have done every single workout on the day posted bar a couple. Even the ones I didn’t much fancy I cracked on and managed it. I’m really pleased to have been the second person past the finish line, and my press ups are mint now. Yesterday’s tricep press ups were also great. I’ve put on weight, sadly, and I forgot to get the tape measure out this morning. I want to continue working on my strength definitely. And I think I’ve noticed a difference is my bingo wings and the perkiness of my boobs.
