Re: Testing times - Covid in 2022
I managed to get a shower early on before my transfer which is just as well because they've closed an entire bay in renal because of an infection so the shower is closed until tomorrow after a deep clean.
My MRI was uneventful and doesn't show anything in particular. They had problems locating my gall bladder because of the number of cysts but the noise of the machine vaguely reminded me of a Test Department gig Peter and I attended in about 1980 at Cannon Street station in London.
So the current plan is keep on with the current antibiotics and see how the infection goes.
My appetite is back and my blood pressure is going up but I still have the "melon in the solar plexus" feeling.
Fingers crossed for a Christmas release.

If I am out for Christmas, it will likely consist of a box of Quality Street, a sofa and The Crown

After that amount of time in hospital even I would be happy with that.

I hope you're doing ok Tsu and are out for Christmas.
I have covid again! I was at a Christmas night out on Saturday and the sore throat started almost immediately. Thankfully it's not too bad but I feel as if I've swallowed razor blades.
This'll be 3rd time around the block for me.

I was released from hospital on Wednesday afternoon and am now back in after taking a turn and having a bad blood test.
Looks like I'm here for the duration. Building myself up to produce the requested dreaded stool sample.

Oh Tsu, I am so sorry for you. Have you got home comforts and things to make it easier like a sleep eye mask and earbuds?

I'm in the female renal bay and I'm the youngest one here by about 15 years.
I don't have trouble sleeping through noise but being woken up every couple of hours for various things is really tiring.
They still don't actually know what's wrong with me.

It's so hard to sleep in hospital with all the checks. And not where you want to be, but it sounds like they're taking good care of you.

Oh no, Tsu. I hope you can get some rest.
