Re: Healthy eating 2021
I’ve dropped the extra I put on over the festive period, plus a bit more at weigh in yesterday. I’m grateful to my past self for starting this last year as I just fell back into my new eating habits easily when we got back from holiday.

Re: Healthy eating 2021
I’ve been really strict this week, sticking to 1,450 cals or below, no booze and working out. I’ve lost 8lb That’s a week one record for me! I wish I’d continue losing 1lb a day but I know what’s in the post

Well done! (Not sure what the last bit of your comment was meant to say)
I haven't had the strength of mind to start proper counting or exercice Back off the booze though, which is helping.

Re: Healthy eating 2021
I need to be back in. I’d lost 12kg in the run up to Christmas 2019, maintained reasonably last year but it’s really started creeping up again particularly over Christmas. It’s partly eating but also a lot to do with exercise, with all the stress with my mum I haven’t had as much time for running etc.

I'll join. I need to focus on upping my fruit and veg intake again as some days I had none over the holidays. I had 1.5 yesterday.

That's a great loss, Nine.
I'm chugging away still managing to control my refined sugar intake.
I've found that I'm still not leaping out of bed full of the joys - I'll need to finally make peace with the fact that I'm truly not a morning person but I have found that the crippling tiredness from 2 pm onwards is gone.

That’s an amazing loss Nine! I haven’t weighed myself yet. I will start officially again on Saturdays as I have a few treats to finish first

1.4lbs off when I weighed yesterday. I'm aiming for 1 a week so I'm happy.

Well done losers!
I still have a house full of Christmas foods and a mangled ankle that's making even getting around the house difficult. Right now I can't even manage the logistics to get my morning weigh in happening before breakfast painkillers
In a bid to do SOMETHING I'm going to drink at least 1l of water a day from today onwards.

My kick start didn’t include coffee (though I’ve been drinking green tea so am not off caffeine) or bread. I’ve had both today and have not felt well for it at all. I was planning to keep them in moderation but I’m not sure it’s worth it.

Re: Healthy eating 2021
Finally weighed myself this morning - the app actually had a warning flash up that said "this is a significant change, can you confirm this is still you?“
7.6lb gain in six weeks of being stuck in bed eating Christmas food - it's probably what I was expecting to be honest. Not sure I'm really in a position to do much about it, but I'm glad I know where I am.

Re: Healthy eating 2021
Viggy considering your circumstances that’s barely anything! I usually put on 8-10lbs on a weeks holiday abroad so for what it’s worth I think your doing admirably well.
Your limited in what you can do right now so please don’t be down on yourself, drinking loads of water sounds like a fab place to start. Maybe cut out carbs where possible just till your more mobile?
