Just a 20 min Peloton this morning. Nothing on Weds/thurs due to work and being generally knackered.

I cancelled kettlebells this evening and just did pump & balance this morning. I’d not done balance for ages so it was nice.

Started the weekend off with glutes and hamstrings. I did it first thing before I was properly awake which means it’s over and done with and the whole day is mine (to be Mum taxi and grocery shop)

Slow sweaty Parkrun this morning. Our local Parkrun is right by the (estuary) coast, so it could have been worse.

I did Dance Step this morning and I truly don’t think I have ever in my life been as sweaty as this. Fun though.

I've done my weights workout today, I have my review tomorrow with my instructor so I'm going to ask her to change a few things. I mainly like it but there's a couple of things I struggle with.

Friday I was meant to be doing a double session. I had a hellish day at work so Mr D forced me out and ran with me for 9 miles on the Costa del Clyde. Got a bonus 'alright' from Martin Compston as we trundled past.

Saturday was an easy 10 mins with 5 tempo reps and an easy 10 mins back home.

Today was a 10k race

Ha, that beats my James Buckley sighting of yesterday

2 mile very sweaty run this morning. I’ve got a horrible week this week so probably the only exercise I’ll do until Friday

Monday was bodyweight bootcamp - lots of push-ups, which I hate doing as I have sciatica and I swear it's them that keeps trapping a nerve in my back.

I also did a 35min recovery run. Monday is always a double day.

Today: 2km warmup/20 mins steady/8 x 150m with recovery/2km cooldown

Oh, that’s a pain about your back, Duo.

I did my half hour online strength thing in my hotel room this morning. There’s no air con here so it was a bit warm!

There was also hopping, which I tried to do as quietly as possible, as I’m on the 3rd floor and it was 6:30 am

I did chest and triceps yesterday. I hated it fully. If I do Endgame again I am totally skipping that one.

I’m on holiday so it’s been sporadic from me, but I did go for a jog along the seafront this morning. And lots of walking, swimming and cycling. Nothing’s going to counteract all the eating and drinking though :)) Will try to jog another couple of times.

Sounds like a pretty active holiday to me so far Ashley!

I've still been running five days a week, bettered my time again so I've increased my distance a bit 300m :mog: so need to widen the loop a bit more still. I've pulled a muscle in my body so lots of exercises are hurting so I've only been walking or cycling on top of the running.

Dipped back in again today now that me feet are no longer seeping or suffering from leprosy.

So two miles intervals on a flat cycle track. It was harder than it should be but I suppose I am still recovering a bit from the excertions of last weekend. Time to get back to it though for sure.

I’ve been to Dance Step tonight. The lights in the studio were all stuck on a dim blue so one of the guys had to stack steps and switch a couple around so the teacher could read her notes. It’s a bloody good job she was wearing white trainers too. Helped the club vibe though.

I’m glad to hear you’re getting back to it now after the ultra, Alan.
