Its all personal choice unless you're not allowed to discuss your personal choice.

Couldn't agree more. What the hell?Edith Bacon wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 11:52 am Jesus Christ! How long before we are not allowed to ask men to wear condoms? I mean, that’s an entirely different topic/thread but NOT fucking ALLOWED to mention something so enormous and important?!

I think we would be fine doing a vague reminder that they should be wearing them, but we're not allowed to challenge the fact they're not (if they're not). Exempt people are supposed to wear sunflower lanyards but, if we can't ask anyone who's not wearing one, that seems a bit pointless really.

I’m finding the wide scale abandonment of masks baffling. I went shopping on Sunday, into the main indoor shopping centre in town and a couple of department stores. I reckon about 10-20% of people were wearing a mask.

He really has no shame. Zero. None. Nothing. Doesn't he feel like a dick sitting there THE ONLY ONE not wearing a mask? No, of course not. ![roll eyes :ella:](./images/smilies/ella.gif)

Why the fuck isn't he wearing one? I am so ashamed at the fact that that weaselly cock represents my country.

He honestly thinks that makes him look like an alpha male. Everybody else sees a shame-riddled alcoholic with impulse control issues.

His "speech" at the UN was excruciating, all that shit about Kermit.

Re: Covid-19
I went to school for a couple of years with that man and it’s to my eternal regret that I didn’t drown him in the school swimming pool (kidding obviously before I get put on A List).
I have classes at two different adult education centres both run by the same county council this term; at one they insist on negative LFTs, masks, strict 2m minimum distance, open windows and a one-way system in the building. At the other they ask learners to wear masks (but don’t insist), they don’t hand out LFTs or ask if you’ve recently done one, and there’s no one-way system at all.

You went to school with Boris Johnson?! Is this the first time we are hearing about this?

I did, in London at Primrose Hill Junior school. I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before! I was in the same year group. Unfortunately, I have absolutely no memory of him, though I think he would have been calling himself Al or Alexander then, so not as memorable as a classmate called Boris. Sadly, I never had any group school photos.

He thinks this makes him invincible though (I also read that he thinks the fact that he has lots of children means he's super-virile

I have it on good authority that he was never actually that ill.

Oh no, that’s stomach-churning. We’re doomed to never getting this pandemic under control with him in charge.

You may well have mentioned it - I likely just missed it. What an opportunity missed, if only you had known.rosy wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 2:31 pm I did, in London at Primrose Hill Junior school. Re: Covid-19
I wondered at the time if it was a PR stunt or in the very least being heavily spun. A ‘two birds one stone’ way of showing how strong and resilient he is/how Covid is nothing to be feared really.purple_dress wrote: ↑Thu Sep 23, 2021 2:34 pm I have it on good authority that he was never actually that ill.
