Get it, Dutchie. It has everything from rain on a tent to Thundercracks. It's really good, and I just have the free version. I'd pay if the free stuff got cancelled, but I haven't found the need up to now, and I've been using it for years.

Re: Simon Baron-Cohen can stuff right off
So, because of Brexit, my ADHD diagnosis isn't valid here and I need to be assessed again. I am pretty much down to no meds after rationing them like mad, and I am reminded of how much I need them :)) In good news, my GP was excellent and referred me to a private service that, in his words, are likely to be more pragmatic than the state service. That was about a month ago, and I've received a letter today with three appointments between 20 September and 20 October, and a notice that it will cost about £60 all in. I'm REALLY hoping they don't decide I don't have ADHD

Fingers crossed, but sheesh, can't believe how painless and cheap a private option is for you.

It would have been about £3k if I'd gone to them myself, but it's covered by public healthcare this way. I'm not sure about the cost of meds, but it'll be worth it even if I have to pay.

Even if you have to spent a few months paying, depending on what you're on, they're not that expensive. They're all out or nearly out of patent now.
The feeling though, when you've been out of meds after taking them for ages, is so difficult to manage. Hope it's quick to get prescription

So, I still have ADHD
Full meds from today
I've also got a certificate for cheaper dental care as methylphenidate affects teeth, which is well timed as I have a dentist appointment next week.

Yay for medicated Smunder! There's a shortage of the bloody things at the moment so I had an entertaining time last week going from GP to pharmacist to ADHD service getting a prescription that aligned with stock which a pharmacist would actually hold and dispense.
I was going to say I didn't know that about teeth, but thinking about it, I remember something from back in the day about speed being REALLY bad for your teeth and the speed freaks that I used to hang about with did have terrible teeth....

I had an utter nightmare getting J’s meds last month. Which ended up with me having to go for a second Doctors appointment to get a new prescription of 60mg capsules which she said we have to split and dissolve in 10ml of water and give half each morning. MrE ended up buying capsules and drug dealer scales from Amazon and making up a batch of 30mg capsules himself.

Oh god, I bet there's a shortage here too, and my joy will be short-lived

Re: Simon Baron-Cohen can stuff right off
I've been struggling to get a hold of mine for months and it's the biggest pain in the fucking arse, especially when the pharmacist tells you on the same day you run out. Managed to get 22 tablets the other week but I'm still owed 6 and god knows when and where they'll turn up.

I’ve put a request in for J’s so we’ll see what happens.

The shortage is a freaking nightmare. It's on the news, it's affecting so many people.
My gp has been great, really quick at sending different prescriptions. I'm also splitting tablets at the moment.

Re: Simon Baron-Cohen can stuff right off
Sorry, Cerise :))
I've been given a prescription for three months supply, I'll see how it goes when I go to the pharmacy later. Prescriptions here are all digital, so I can go into any pharmacy in Sweden and have it filled. Hopefully that will mean I can find the meds...
I also have a prescription for some kind of gum that encourages saliva production, to try and counteract the dry mouth. I didn't know that was a thing until the doctor offered it.

Ha, I've just seen your BINGO sheet. :)) I have recently won a massive row with R about keys on a hook next to the front door. I explained the number of mental steps it takes to leave the house *with* all the things I need to leave the house with, and how if he insists keys are not next to the front door he's basically taking life from 'easy play' to 'multiple obstacles' mode.

Med shortages are just awful to deal with. So stressful! We haven't had any problems here, so I'm hoping that we're in the clear. I can only get a month of B's med at a time, and then you have to wait until the last minute to refill, so there would be no bloody notice if it did run out.
