Just to interrupt with positive news; Ruby, looks like Omicron has definitely peaked in your area. And all other areas for that matter. Phew! I mean, I’m sure the next variant is just around the corner etc etc but still!

Urgh Pip.

Pete has covid now. the rest of us are negative so far. Neil isn’t quite herself but is testing negative so far so who knows.

We are still climbing the peak up here!

Sorry for your isolation woes Pip.

Oh, poor Pete! I hope she's ok, Cluef. You must be worried, you poor thing.

We're still climbing the peak here too, although we were meant to have peaked last week.

ETA: Sorry for your woes too, Pip.

I'm still negative, and M is still testing positive although he feels ok.

I hope everyone who is ill with it gets better soon.

Oh no, I hope Pete has an easy go of it.

R has woken up with a sore throat and runny nose, so both kids are isolating from school today. We will have to test.

This honestly was what sent me over the edge. That, and the fact that I was the contact for 4 out of 5 us who all had tested positive which meant an unbelievable number of texts and emails about contact. There should have just been a box to tick 'x - plague house' and leave us to fester in peace.

Sorry for all the positive tests - hope everyone remains well.

Thanks PD. She’s feeling completely dreadful and just keeps crying (which is very unlike her usually when she feels rough) and telling me she’s really tired. Bit breathless earlier. Hopefully she will get better asap. Sorry it’s so rife with everyone at the moment.
