On Saturday a local wedding style DJ - he's only young - took requests on Fb and went from road to road in a car with his sound system playing the song each road had nominated. There were loads of videos put up but the most heartwarming one was the local old folks' care home with all the confined old dears sitting in their windows smiling and waving

To be fair, he is the leader of the country, like it or not, and attends meetings with critical ministers and policy-makers (CMO etc.). If he had symptoms and WASN’T tested, that’d be reckless negligence on his part.

The music stories are so lovely. :love2:

The neighbourhood next to ours organised a bear hunt where people put bears up in windows or their front gardens for kids to spot. It was so sweet.

Having big wide roads here makes it so much easier to pass by other people. We wouldn’t have managed easily where we lived in the UK.

Agreed - I have no reason to think he wouldn't be taken the precautions like everyone else, and I don't like the bloke!

Yeah, I don't object to the PM being tested (even though I object to the PM).

Look, I’m totally on board with not testing the general public now, but they’re currently not testing healthcare professionals, and to all intents & purposes, the Prince of Wales & the PM are the general public in this. It’s not hugely important either way though, I don’t want to fight about it.

You can't blame them for testing those at the top as abhorrent as most of them are.

I'm still struggling to accept this 12 week ban they I've had. I've only had a text message, yet others talk of letters, which I haven't had, and if I'm honest I don't really trust 111.

Did those who have letters receive a text message first?

I also have no idea which thread this should be on really.

Topcat if you're not sure you can contact your GP surgery, they should be able to tell you which category you fall into.

The music stories are lovely :hbeat:

My Aunt's partner (kidney transplant also with pulmonary issues, so about as high risk as you can get) got a text and then a 3 page letter.

My mum, with far fewer risk factors, so far has just had a text.

I’ve only had a text, no letter.
It’s like a normal midlife crisis only with more chandeliers and foreign languages.
