It does, oddly, sound quite appealing but I don’t think my inflexible self is really cut out for it.

You cannot be more inflexible than me. Really. I'm hoping this will help with my rigidity but even though I will never jette across stages around the world it is a good workout.

It's much cooler today so I'm back with Jillian. NMTZ today mostly with 3kg weights. My press ups were crap though.

Well done! I’ve given up on 3kg weights, my pins and needles may be slowly improving so I might get back there eventually. I’m doing baby press ups too.

That's good news with the improvement albeit slowly.
I've realised it's not my hamstrings that plague me it's my adductors I'm not sure which ones but they all radiate out from the same area so I can't pinpoint which one because I don't have xray vision/ am not medical.

I am slightly regretting the fancy velux windows now. They have rain sensors to close automatically which is generally great but not when it’s really warm with a light drizzle.

NMTZ today. I felt it pleasantly in my arms and shoulders on Saturday and I expect I will be feeling it again tomorrow!

NMTZ done. Other than a weird sharp pain in the top of my shoulder during the press ups it wasn’t too bad.

I've done it today. Those squirms are making me aware of my obliques. My adductors are feeling good on the side lunges, much stronger than they used to be. I say this, you watch, tomorrow I'll bloody pull my right one and will be out of action for days.

for well behaved adductors. I still find the side lunges awkward. I was just getting the hang of the stationary ones when I switched from shred to NMTZ.

NMTZ yesterday for the first time in days. I think I might need to switch to something else for a while as familiarity is making me phone it in a bit. Still pouring sweat though.

I think I will switch to 6W6P for 6 weeks (funnily enough) and then back to NMTZ. All I remember of it is approx 40(?) minutes of frantic chaos so I am posting this to make me actually do it.

I really liked 6W6P when I revisited it. I'm just waiting for my wrists to stop hurting and will restart something. Maybe 6W6P too actually, that's a good idea. I have been walking relentlessly so have clocked up about 14km most days while I haven't been doing specific exercise over the last 10 days or whatever it's been. I've lost a bit of weight so I'm not worried from that perspective but I don't want to lose muscle.

I’m less worried about muscle as I’ve been doing NMTZ reasonably regularly but my general activity has really dropped during lockdown so I think I’d benefit from the extra cardio.

Apart from last week I've been doing NMTZ and Barre work several times a week too but it's a slippery slope to losing strength. Anyway thanks to your post I have tried out my wrists and did level 1 of 6W6P. I really like it because it's so quick, but it was a good workout! Thanks for the poke!
I'm with you on the general activity being less than pre lockdown. I looked back and I am "in the zone" (fat burning) so much more in normal times despite my long daily walks plus 4 x week workouts.
