I think I might need some lighter weights. I'm finding I can barely lift my arms during the second set of some of the moves. I don't know if it's better to do what I can with the weights I have or use lighter weights so I can fully lift.

Better to use lighter weights and keep your form I’d say.

I find that when my weights are too heavy I end up not being able to squat/ lunge properly so my knees will be too far forward/ legs won't be bending with right angles or I won't be able to keep my abs engaged, things like that if that makes sense and for me that's not going to get the right result if my stomach is pushed out when it should be sucked in etc.

I didn't do it today. I opted for a long lie in, then I felt groggy, then I had some lunch and I can't exercise after eating. The end.

L3 has knocked me for 6, either that or I’m coming down with something. I decided on a rest day. I did have a few weeks of not doing very much so I may have been a bit overkeen to throw myself back into a full exercise routine.

NMTZ done and Fitbit tells me I worked very hard today. I don't really need the Fitbit to tell me that I was sweating like a pig and huffing and puffing like the big bad wolf.

I'm rejoining you again next week. And I am typing these words so I can't make excuses. I haven't been up to doing that much and my lung function is still a bit wrong, BUT I resumed a daily bracing hilly walk a few weeks back and this week I have been doing alternate days "running"* and gentle yoga/walk to build myself back up to beginner Jillian level. HOW THE MIGHTY HAVE FALLEN. I have low expectations but you have to start somewhere. I am SO fat.
* First week of Erin's 5K, so a strenuous programme of 6x 1minute runs, with 3 min walks in between. Honestly, it's so beginner and I still find it hard going. I am doing it on hills though (but sometimes those hills are going downwards )
