Another month!

Just over 20km on the bike this morning.

I am setting some goals for this month as I need to be accountable:

4 mornings per week on the bike
2 runs for the month (I need to get back on it)
4 walks per week

500km in total on the bike for the month.

I did socially distanced Pilates in the rain again this evening.

6 miles for me at teatime. I surprised myself at not walking as much on my undulating route.

I couldn’t face Jillian Michaels after negotiating Sainsburys so I did 30 minutes on the rower instead. Dull but not too taxing.

Just under 6 miles for me this evening too. On track for the week so far.

I’m not sure about rain Pilates

A wet ride this morning. Just under 17km.

Rain Pilates sounds nice if it's warm rain :)

It was warm-ish rain but J started to get cold so we gave up after about 45 mins, which wasn’t too bad. We were all still so excited by the novelty of it.

I don’t mind exercise in the rain, I’d rather that than hot sun any day. Talking of which it was very warm this afternoon but with a strong wind, worst of both worlds and a tough 7km.

An aborted ride this morning due to a slight mechanical problem. My tyre felt flat after about 5km so pumped it up and when Gannet took the pump off, it took the valve with it which got stuck in the pump and my tyre deflated completely!!

I started to walk home, Gannet rode to get the car and picked me up. So, a 5km ride and a 2.5km walk

6 miles last night for me, more walking and chatting than running.

I’ve done the fitness tests as a HIIT workout followed by a spot of Pilates to cool down.

I’m actually massively impressed with my progress even if my weight has crept up. I managed 15 press ups on my toes and 11 on my knees in 1 minute!

That is impressive. I have the upper body strength of a toddler. Push ups are my nemesis.

5 miles overall last night. 4 running and I phoned our favourite takeaway when I was at certain point of my run so I picked it up on the way home. I walked the remaining .3 miles.

Well done Pip, that's good going.

Rainy PT session today. Well, I got rained on. My coach sat in his house, warm and dry, shouting "encouragement" by video.

Lightish weights session later to catch up on a missed one during the week.

Good work Pip. I did some press ups the other day just to prove that I still could

I’ve been watching people on a Facebook group I’m in and realised I’m actually pretty damn good at them in comparison. Or I’m going too far down.

5K today but it was slow. I was running with my friend and she needed a couple of stops.

Cycled to mum's and home again so just under 19km on the bike then a 6km walk.

I was so sweaty :flirt:

I had a very slow 5 miles today with M. It’s unusual for her to want to come out so I was happy to take it slow with a fair bit of walking.

36 miles for the week so just on target and I’ve fit in an efforts session this week so I’m happy. Everyone in my GVRAT WhatsApp group does 40 miles plus every week (some do 60!) but I’m trying to focus only on my achievement and not what they’re doing :lg:
