Bob Harper! I miss the Biggest Loser, but I suppose it had run its course.

He had a 'widowmaker' heart attack a couple of years ago and nearly died - so he only does yoga now! But his old workout videos are really good. I never saw the Biggest Loser but I knew that's how he got his break - maybe Jillian Michaels too?

Pilates tonight. My arms are going to kill me tomorrow.

Oh - I’d read about that but promptly forgotten about it again! Yes - he and Jillian were the trainers for years.

Just over 9.5 miles today. Closing in on Sunday if I can keep it up without straining anything. Or falling over from sheer tiredness.

Ran with a couple of club ladies tonight, which was good for taking my mind off my legs.

A really bloody hard 5k for me tonight. I don't know what's going on but I'm really struggling with my breathing at the moment.
I've really slowed my pace down but it still isn't enough.

Sorry to hear that Pawpads. Worrying when something's up and you don't know what it is. How long has it been happening?

I think it started about 3 weeks ago. I've kind of put it down to the weather.

Could be. I struggle even when it gets to like 18C - one of the reasons I run in the early mornings (and am grateful I live in Scotland)

I have such bad arse and hamstring DOMS from Bob Harper yesterday that I've just had to abandon my yoga session. Going to do some vigorous housework instead.

I'm just back from a PT session. Breathing really hampered it though and I didn't really relax until about 3/4 of the way through.
Between the finish and driving home, the sides of my shins are killing. Need to find my roller thingy.
I do love arse DOMS though not in a weird way, obviously.

Do you think you need to speak to your GP Pawpads?

I have all over DOMS right now. I know what you mean about it being quite good.

5K done. I was expecting it to be a bit cooler after it drizzled all morning but it was unpleasantly hot and muggy.

I'm glad you understand the DOMS feeling. I've been speaking to Mr Pads about the breathing and yes, I'm going to make an appointment
to see / speak to the GP.

I'm glad you're going to get checked out Pawpads.

I took my new bike out for a spin tonight, just into a few miles into town and back. It's nice and light for a hybrid but I'm going to have to get used to the more upright sitting position with flat handlebars. Feels a bit awkward and exposed, and steering is a lot more responsive too so I was wobbly at times. I'll get used to it.

Me too, it’s definitely a good idea to get checked out.

I did today’s HIIT and it was lunge-tastic. Also so many tricep things. If I don’t have Madonna arms by 31st August I’m asking for a refund. :))

Keep going. How far can you go before you fall behind on the STRICT timing? Results below please.

Good luck 🍀

I’m planning a walk today and an online Pilates class. My gym is open again, but I’ve not been back yet. I can join their classes online though. The only thing I really miss is their swimming pool.

This thread reminded me that I have a couple of old Jillian and Davina dvd’s somewhere too!

I got to 6, then 3 more and nope. Couldn’t get to 7! Started on toes then 3/4 position from 3.

Dance Step was just fantastic this morning. I’m so happy to be back. :love2:
