I timed mine so I can go shopping afterwards (it’s in a shopping centre) :))

Ah, thanks, was able to check and I can get a week sooner but I'll possibly be on holiday then I'm going to keep trying the walk-ins before then.

I’ve just had my first dose of Pfizer and am booked for my second on 14 July. It was such a slick operation at the clinic and everyone was so lovely!

Ooh the walk in place says you only need to be 3 weeks post first jab for Pfizer so I’m going to go camp out there Saturday morning and hopefully get it done!

I take it all back, no queue at all.

This is all excellent news. I can’t bring mine forward but it’s only another two weeks until my appointment anyway.

That's a shame, Squiz. Two weeks isn't long to wait though.

I've got a local appointment for the same day as my other one now! That's exactly eight weeks later I think so I guess I'll have no joy having it earlier.

No walk-ins for you there? Ours are saying as long as you're 3 weeks post for Pfizer and 4 weeks post for AZ then you'll be ok. Our local GP alliance tweets about them constantly.

My GP surgeries definitely aren't doing walk-ins. I haven't heard of anywhere locally but will see if I can find anything.

Looks like they briefly did them in March for older people but nothing since then.

Yay Cerise! I hope the side effect Gods are kind.

I am also officially, they've issued me with a letter.

I’d like the side effects Gods to dish me a little bit of low ebb/tiredness so I can enjoy some justified sofa time. :))

Does that mean you got a “real” dose in you trial?

Pre-emptive rest is definitely for the best, Cerise

It’s so good to see all the second doses happening! My brother just got his too. I really, REALLY want the kids to be done now, especially with all the chat about everything opening up completely on the 19th July.

Oh I definitely got a real dose, but there has been some questions about how our vaccine status would be reflected, especially now being double vaccinated is becoming important for travel etc. So we (participants in trials) have a letter proving our status. I'm not planning any foreign trips, but it feels like being able to show your vaccine status is going to become more of a thing.

I just got my second Pfizer  I’m 5 weeks past my first one today. They were all so giddy and happy and I’ve had a little cry in my car.

Hurrah! I hope any side effects are mild & short lived.

I got my first Pfizer dose today. It was so efficient. There are thousands being vaccinated at my local centre and I was in and out in half an hour. It felt weirdly emotional, watching everyone lining up.

I pass Pfizer offices on my way home, I felt like high fiving them as I passed.
