Re: Healthy eating 2021
Interesting! I had a go on the impedance scales at the doctor's a while back and the results seemed plausible - I think I have small bone structure (certainly have narrow wrists, ankles and shoulders), so should be lower in the healthy weight range to actually be healthy. The scales certainly can't be as good as an actual scan.

You can have a small bone structure but still have dense bones. I think only a scan can tell you that though. I don't have a large bone structure myself.

Where did you go nine? I used to visit BodyScan in Marylebone, but back in 2016! It’s really interesting.

I just did a google and apparently you can get this for an average of £95 in London, and £265 in Edinburgh

Re: Healthy eating 2021
The place I found over here is $90 for an initial scan and consultation and $80 for follow ups. Apparently my private health might rebate $50 of that too. The only thing that has stopped me booking straight in is the location/poor parking options.
I suspect I have small bone structure/small frame. I’m at the low end of healthy BMI just now. I’m super interested in knowing my muscle mass and body composition.

I think you must be, as your current weight is close to the weight of me with zero body fat (It's not necessary frame size, though, but bone density and muscle mass - although you could still have a tiny frame.)

I’m shorter than you too (and defo am not wasting away, I’ve still got meat on my bones!)
Bone density is definitely something else interesting and something that we need to keep an eye on with ageing/hormones etc isn’t it? All I know about that is that weight bearing exercise is super important to support it.

I'm relieved to hear you're not a skeleton and a collection of organs
Yes, he said that my dense bones are probably a mixture of genetics and doing so much sport when I was younger and still growing. It's my sturdy Scandinavian ancestors I probably mainly have to thank for that.

That's really interesting nine. I've always been on the heavier side for my frame (my wrist size puts me on the smaller size) and I wonder if I've just got dense bones - I did a lot of ballet when I was growing, plus I'm also Scandi/ Anglo-Saxon heritage.
I'm going to get this done I think, just not this month as I'm, ahem, a bit skint after the emergency glazier incident.

I bet my bones are like balsa wood if it's based on being sporty when growing up Although I've always eaten a lot of calcium.

Re: Healthy eating 2021
I lost 2 ounces this week.
As I had a massive loss last week I'm not going to stress over it, I'm still 4.7lbs lighter. I am going to change to the green WW plan though as I'm mostly eating foods that need to be pointed on blue plan and I don't have any left for wine. I'll give it two weeks and go from there. I've still got 14 weeks free.

Re: Healthy eating 2021
I always stall after the week one loss! Often for several weeks I lost 8lb in my first week this time, then stayed more or less the same for three weeks. Keep plodding on
My weight loss seems to be closely linked to my menstrual cycle - it’s only taken me this long to work it out I usually have a dramatic loss in week 3, just after ovulation, then pretty much stall the rest of the month or lose very little. It all adds up though.

That's fantastic!
I've fallen on and off the wagon a bit but haven't gained so I'll need to get motivated again.
