I’m less keen on the ones which have a lot of cardio mostly due to lack of coordination and space. I’ll stick to running for a cardio fix. I’m supposed to be meeting my friend for a run again tomorrow which is added incentive.

Where as I can't bring myself to leave the house during winter months so need house cardio :)) I'm considering buying the Insanity dvd set so have been getting more JM to kerb my insane thoughts.

Looks like it's slightly warmer your way tomorrow (than it was the other day when you froze while running).

I turn on my electric blanket every day to let my workout clothes warm up in my bed before I have to put them on. :mog:

It’s supposed to be 2deg tomorrow instead of the 1.5 it was on Tues :mog:

ETA No, just checked. It’s now 1 deg after 3pm!

Oh. Well it certainly felt colder than 1 degree the other day!

It was bloody freezing out! I wore my mask for some of it to keep my face warm :))

I’m just doing various HIIT videos on YouTube for my cardio. I’m so malcoordinated I struggle with anything more complicated.

JM cardio stuff - older - will only be mountain climbers, burpees etc nothing complicated or requiring lots of space or co-ordination.

Getting into cold clothing used to put me off so much years ago until I realised I could utilise my electric blanket.

That’s true, it will be interesting to know if BFBM is as frantic as 6W6P.

I really like 6W6P. I didn't the first time round but I've become quite fond of it after a few goes at it.

I don’t find it does much for my abs, which is irritating. It’s tough on my legs though. It also needs just a bit too much space for comfort.

I do think NMTZ abs section works the abs harder than 6W6P.

NMTZ done today. I didn't have much work to do so totally did it on work dime. :uhh:

Good idea, I had an appraisal today so it wouldn’t have been the best plan for me :))

I’m tempted to try one of these virtual classes for comparison. I get free access but 6 hours later than billed so the 11am set are best but 12.15 is also doable.

The fitness centre of the office campus our head office is on. Staff from any company based there can use them even if they’re on a different site but that’s the reason for the time difference.

To continue the HR discussion... MrTex always shops and cooks on a Saturday. Today he decided to attempt an actual recipe and got so stressed the abnormal HR warning keeps going off on his watch :mog: I am trying not to laugh...

:mog: That's brilliant. I'm glad mine doesn't have that kind of alarm. When I couldn't breathe very well last year when I made my 999 sign, my heartrate was 120 which was making me even more panicky.

You can turn it off. Mine went off (130) last week while I was standing at the worktop reading my iPad

...and I know it was horrible at the time but your 999 sign always makes me chuckle (seeing as you survived and all).
