You’re all doing brilliantly! I kept up ripped for a week or so and then hurt my back (shovelling grit - nothing to do with Jillian!), and got out of the habit and have been feeling guilty every time I saw this thread

But am back to it now and have just done my first one again.

30-day shred is fab, nine. I love your crazy dancing half hour, Disco, I bet you felt amazing afterwards.

Glad your back is better, Ashley - welcome back!

The dancing was joyful so I have decided to put a sports bra on every day and do it.

My legs are killing me today after barre.

I honestly love the idea of the dancing - I might copy you!

Barre sounds and looks torturous.

Do it. It really lifts your spirits and it's great aerobic exercise.

It is very hard. I've got pretty strong legs but the repetition burns so much!

I love the dancing :))

Glad your back is better Ashley.

I was about to sign up to this week’s barre class now the power’s back on but it clashes with L’s school options meeting.

You don't fancy an on demand one so you can do it when it's convenient to you?

I thought I’d try a live one first as I’ve never done it before.

NMTZ done, not as much fun as dancing :))

It just goes to show how important the right max HR is for calculating calorie burn. My absolute HR was very similar to previous attempts but I was dramatically overestimating the calories. I think this is far more likely to be accurate.

NMTZ earlier though I stopped after the surrender circuit. I'm getting fatigued with it at the moment so I'm going to continue with Killer B&T and will do my new JM dvd. I can't remember what it's called but it's the cardio dvd that goes with NMTZ.

I’ll be interested to know what you think of that one.

I have run which was quite painful. I’m going to have an enforced couple of days off now due to MrTex’s 50th.

I'll keep you informed!

Do you have anything nice planned? Food? Drinks?

I've done my dancing stint.

There will be a lot of baking going on tomorrow for socially responsible drinks with neighbours on Weds. (Hence the 2 rest days.)

Who’s have thought dancing could burn so many calories??

Sounds like a perfect way to celebrate in these times.

It's not bad, is it. Plus it's fun and I get to sing along too.
