NMTZ done. I’m still getting used to my revised calorie burn, I’m sure I worked just as hard.

BFBM today. Just over halfway through something pulled in the middle of my back which was very sore and remained sore throughout the rest of the dvd so I had to completely modify everything to the point I looked like I was 85 years of age.

It's not hurting as much now while I'm typing on the laptop so hopefully it was just a weird one off twinge. I'm about to take some precautionary Ibuprofen for anti swelling properties.

Ouch, Disco! Hope it feels better soon.

Gearing up for my final beginner shred this afternoon.
I’ve lost 17.3lb since 30/12 and started shred on 9/1. While I expect most of the weight loss has been due to calorie counting, I do think shred has played a part and I’ve definitely built muscle and improved my fitness. My belly is much firmer and my arms have actual definition (in the right light :)) ).

Ouch Disco, hope it feels better today.

I was planning to run later but I feel events may be conspiring against me and I might run out of time.

The weight loss is excellent, nine, as is finishing BS.

I thought my back was ok this morning until I casually stretched in bed and it became apparent that my back is not ok. I am going to have a few days off but I can still do my dancing sessions even if they are not quite as exuberant as I would want them to be. So, shortly I will do a second 30 minute sesh. I've already gone beyond 10k steps so far but want to reach 15k steps by the end of the day.

Definitely take it gently - back pain is horrible. A bit of heat or ice might help?

Oh I forgot to say I can finally do modified press ups! It only took 30 sessions to get there.

That's a good idea. I have hate patches - :mog: TYPO - so will dig one out.

That's good! Not too long either. It's so good when you can see and feel tangible results.

Ah, a patch of hate for those times you're feeling too sentimental.

Good luck! Top tip: If you find you can’t walk up or down stairs tomorrow it’s best to do it again rather than rest.

Good luck, I’m sure you’ll be fine. I didn’t think bs sounded that beginner seeing the list of exercises.

I’m still resting my shoulder blades but I have been dancing around so have at least burnt some calories.

That’s excellent, Disco. Hope your shoulder feels better soon :lg:

I’ve just done my first proper shred. I think BS prepared me well. The only bit I couldn’t do was the full second set of push ups. I am quite red now.
