Gosh that is impressive! I'm sore from yesterday's HIIT workout.

I’m also sore, in my case from yesterday’s Pump since it was nearly a fortnight since the previous Pump class due to Christmas, so I’m on the sofa in my joggers and don’t plan on anything strenuous today. I’ll make up for it tomorrow with the Sunday double class.

I’m so pissed off, I can’t get in for my regular Friday classes next week at the gym. :lg: I’ll have to do LMOD instead.

Anyway, the fitness tests weren’t as horrific as feared.

January returners?

I’ve been for a 50 minute walk.

We've booked RPM for tomorrow and I will go for a walk later, probably on my own.

That looks good to me, Pip - I couldn’t do half of that!

I’ve started the month with a gruelling but slow 8 mile run (part hike really!) Very muddy and very hilly I (by design). I ran with some running club buddies which felt really good after a few weeks of self-imposed isolation.

Feel free to try Mojo! I bet you could have a go. I won’t cry when you beat me.

:mog: Seriously - I can do about 10 press ups on my knees, and no burpees! I refuse squats because they don’t compliment my running niggles very well.

My arms are basically atrophied flabby twigs.

I womanned up and did LMOD on my phone today until I can sort my TV issues in the gym. Only 30 mins of Pump but I have shakey muscles now.

Hiit day 2 is done. I did a bit of it outside too, since it’s so warm. Plus my mats get all messed up from squat jumps.

Handstands class this morning. I’d like to go regularly as it’s different to the calisthenics on Wednesday but the timings are awkward. It’s 10am and the girls’ class is 1pm so it’s a lot of time to kill (and pay for parking) or two trips to Bath and back every Sunday. I might go 1-2 times a month rather than every week.

I then walked around Bath for ages and reached double my step target.

That’s my first 7 days in a row done!

I have low level DOMS from Pump yesterday but put workout clothes on, unlocked the gym and did 30 mins of Body Step to get moving this morning anyway. I need to form habits again so needs must. And I really need to get the gym area sorted properly. It’s a dumping ground for crap at the moment so I don’t actually have much space to move around.

My DOMS from Friday’s Pump had abated this morning, so I did Pump then yoga this evening, then celebrated with crisps. I don’t think I’m doing this fitness malarkey right :))

HIIT day 3 done; an ascending pyramid. I’d like one that’s not a mixture of mat & jumping work because it’s hard to decide where to work out, living room or kitchen or conservatory/office. All have disadvantages.

Gym this morning then a walk - took about 1 hr 15 mins.

It was mainly trigger point release, massage and stretching at the gym. Jigsaws had broken me.

Spirit then Zumba this morning, then I met a friend for a walk in the woods after the quickest turnaround for a shower and hair wash I think I’ve done (about 15 minutes from walking in the door to walking out again). I knew ahead of time that I’d not have long, so I laid all my clothes out and got everything ready before I headed out to the gym.

Thankfully he eased us in with a fitness test and less intense circuits.

Your fitness tests, Pip. Are the reps to a certain time or to failure?

They’re a minute each & I’m supposed to do three rounds, but never do.
