That’s weird Wendy. Can you ask the gym staff about it?

I’ve done my usual three class Friday and am knackered right now. I upped my pump weights though and that felt good!

P (who met me at the gym as he’d been to the shop) said similar but there was nobody who would have seen. I would recognise him if he’s there next week and I might mention it to the staff if I spot him. He was on a spin bike directly opposite me, though at a distance.

Seriously not cool. Though I bet he was probably a bit awed by you.

Ha, too kind. I’d imagine photos of 44 year old overweight women doing headstands is more for ridicule.

Anyway, I’m cancelling tomorrow’s spin and saving myself for Sunday handstands. And hasn’t January gone quick? I can tell we’re heading into February as the gym is getting quieter!

Yes, BodyBalance was really quiet this morning.

So not cool, Wendy. Good on you for saying something to him.

I am mildly hungover this morning so I’m putting off my Pump workout to later today.

First class back in a week, at Spirit this morning. I played it safe trying not to overstretch my groin :))

Ugh. 10 mile (actually 9.5) long slow run this morning. Unfortunately, straight after that we drove to help my friend look for her missing dog. I walked for over three hours and now I’m officially broken.

Oh mojo! I hope you found the dog?

We walked this afternoon. It was a bit breezy!

It was windy down here, so I can imagine it was tough further north!

The dog is still missing, unfortunately :( A Romanian rescue that they only got yesterday. He’s close by as they keep seeing him but he’s spooked.

I’d definitely round 9.5 miles up to 10 if I ever ran that far.

Hope the dog is found.

I hope the dog is found too (and that your legs are ok!)

I’m mega cranky just now due to SLMT. MrE put the air con on in the gym and told me to go out and do a Combat class and it would make me feel better. He was right. I did release 77.

Good work Mr E. my bestie used to send me out for a run when I was cranky at work.

I ran 5km. Slowly. I started BBG again last week and I’m having a bit of a kickstart this month. I’m got unfit and unhealthy with my habits and I want that to change.

So Combat uses a whole lot of muscles that Step and Pump don’t. I have DOMS all down my back and shoulders today!

It really does, Est.

I missed out on three waitlist places for kettlebells so I’ve done a catch up hiit in the kitchen instead. I went for a sunny walk at lunchtime too.

Ah, I used to love Combat DOMS  I think I’d just die if I tried one now.

No cross country for me yesterday due to sore legs. More walking today - door-to-door and putting posters up for my friend’s dog :(

Finished off the month with a walk to and from the gym and RPM 87.

I've walked (logged) just over 80 miles this month.
